Mark developed Wine Tais for my luau class in July. A wine-based Mai Tai? Yes, they’re delicious, and you can drink more than one! They are very refreshing and especially festive served in a Tiki Mug with a chunk of pineapple and a paper umbrella as a garnish.
- ½ cup dry crisp white wine
- 1 ½ tbsps fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 tbsp orgeat syrup
- ½ tbsp pineapple syrup
Pour ingredients into a tumbler full of ice and stir. Add more lime juice if you like it less sweet; add more pineapple syrup if you like it sweeter. Add a pineapple wedge, decorative drink umbrella, or whatever drink accessory you prefer.
1 bottle dry white wine
½ cup lime juice
3 oz orgeat syrup
3 tbsps pineapple syrup
Pour into a pitcher, stir and serve over ice.
