Wine
Evergreen Wine Cellar 2608 E Evergreen Blvd Vancouver, WA 98661 360.993.8880 A great little wine shop in west Vancouver? Yes! Pam's shop has been open since May 2008 and we (gasp) didn't know! She has a great selection, including a lot of not-so-easy-to-find Washington wines. She's also working on a wine bar next door. Garrison's Fine Wines 1401 SE Morrison (14th and SE Morrison) Portland, OR 97214 503.233.8060 High end wines, and great values, too. Travis is unpretentious and really knows what he's talking about. India Desi Bazaar 11304 NE Fourth Plain Road Vancouver, WA 98662 360.882.7703 Well stocked store- clean and bright setting, helpful owners. Specializing in East Indian, Gujarati, Punjabi groceries, New Zealand lamb chops, goat meat (!), spices, fish.
Beaverton Halal Meat Mediterranean Grocery 11527 SW Canyon Road Beaverton, OR 97005 503.574.2383 This store is huge and has lots of spices for Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine. They also have ghee, tahini, and flat bread.
Anoush Deli 6808 E. Fourth Plain Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98662 360.693.4359 Grape leaves, fresh feta cheese, spices, jarred whole red peppers, bakery and deli.
Barbur World Foods 9845 SW Barbur Blvd Portland, OR 503.244.0670 Middle eastern grocery and a lot more. They have a great deli with prepared foods to go. Beautiful produce and large cheese selection. They also own the popular Lebanese restaurant Ya Hala.
Bazaar 10255 SW Canyon Road Portland, OR 97005 503.641.1352 Indian and Pakistani ingredients. This store has the largest selection of spices that I've ever seen. Their selection of frozen naan, Indian breads, and premade foods is wonderful. There is even a restaurant next door.
Moroccan
Mint Tea 2014 Main St. Vancouver, WA 98660 360.699.4991 Orange and rose flower water, olive oil, tea, and tagines. Mint Tea just moved to the location of the old Casa Blanca restaurant on Main and 20th. In addition they have a small cafe and are working with the Vancouver Co-op.
Mexican

Taqueria Market Portland 11505 NE Fourth Plain Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98662 360.885.4526 Large selection of Mexican specialties including dried chilis. Spotless and well organized. Reasonably priced tortilla presses.
Asian
Fubonn Supermarket 2850 SE 82nd Ave. Portland, OR 97266 503.517.8877 Fubonn is an Asian mall. The main store is huge and has a large selection of everything Asian. There are also several stores and restaurants.
Chang Fa Supermarket 8310 SE Division Portland, OR 97266 503.788.8882 Chang Fa Supermarket is a smaller family run Oriental market. It was very organized and they had a great selection.
Sorya Asian Market 5910-B E. Fourth Plain Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98661 360.699.2177 Fresh vegetables, spices, sauces, oils, and some Indian items.
Uwajimaya 10500 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway Beaverton, OR 97005-3111 503.643.4512 Fresh vegetables, meats and seafood, bakery. Amazing selection of sauces, anything Japanese. Some selection of Indian and other Asian countries.
Seafood
Pacific Northwest Best Fish Co. 24415 NE 10th Ave. Ridgefield, WA 98642 360. 887.4268 Pacific Northwest Best Fish Co. offers a wide variety of fresh seafood, along with local wine, beer, and several condiments. They also have a café if you're not in the mood to cook.
Bakery

Julia Bakery 2614 Fort Vancouver Way (a few blocks north of 4th Plain, east of I5) Vancouver, WA 98660 360.993.0505 Nenad buys the best organic flour from Canada and recently put in a sophisticated steam oven: he is serious about great bread. Lots of traditional European style breads and other baked goods.
Desserts

Bet you can't eat just one- I couldn't! Lemon Cake with Lime Curd and some of the coconut varieties were my favorites.
Gourmet

You will find: Pastaworks- fresh pasta, sauces, breads, assorted cheeses, specialty vinegars and oils. Newman's Fish Company- you can order any kind of seafood you need. Viandi- specialty meats.
